Harley Consult offers procurement and construction contract advice and contracts drafting for developers, contractors, and construction professionals, such as architects and surveyors.

 

Its principal, Nigel Harley, has over 40 years’ experience and his clients include contracting organisations and professional practices.

Nigel Harley

Nigel is a Chartered Builder and Chartered Surveyor with legal qualifications. 

He has extensive experience in working for contractors and in private practice as a Commercial Director, Estimator and Quantity Surveyor. In last 15 years, Nigel has specialised in contracts consultancy and dispute resolution, acting as an expert witness in quantum matters and as an advocate in arbitrations, mediation and adjudications. 

He has been retained as a disputes resolver on a wide range of disputes. He is a panel adjudicator and has been appointed on over 100 adjudications.

He has also been engaged as a trainer and speaker on the subject of construction contracts and construction contract claims.
